The Commanding Officer of this forward AAF bomber base has decided to try and give the boys, who had been suffering somewhat high losses, a nice pick-me-up upon the return of their next mission. When Melissa came to the base as part of the travelling USO tour, he had a great idea of having her cheer the boys as they returned. He said she could pick whatever outfit she'd like and gave her a Jeep to set out on the airfield... he didn't expect the bomber crews nearly crashing into eachother's aircraft upon spotting her!
