Another in the Propaganda Pinup Poster Series featuring pinup model Crystal. With an industrial might comes industrial costs... and World War 2 cost a lot. In order to produce thousands of weapons, vehicles, ships, and aircraft every week the costs for the war were huge. Unable to pay for the war on it's own, the US Government looked to the American people to help out backing their men and women who were fighting the war by paying for the production with their pocket books. Buying War Bonds and Defense Stamps were the thing to do and heavily promoted with movie stars, travelling military shows and exhibits all over the country, radio commercials and special shows, and lots more. Call it an investment, the idea behind backing the war with this 'loan to the United States' was that you'd be investing and after the war get back your money plus interest. Crystal here is wearing an A-2 Jacket and Mae West Life Preserver while climbing into her P-51D Mustang fighter. This is a complete redo and overhaul of this poster which was originally done in 2012 to be more accurate to the original style along with the airbrushed style to the model.
