A new Petty Project image featuring the lovely Kayla in another return appearance to the Petty Project. The overall image was pretty easy to put together and not very complicate unlike some of the other recent recreations. The end result, however, took a bit longer as I tried out some new methods that I’ve developed for my normal pinup photos turning them into look like 1940s artwork. This image was made from over 30 different studio shots, hundreds of layers in photoshop, and many hours of hand work to faithfully replicate Petty's work.

Celebrating the golden age of pinups during the 1940s, these classic pinups have been carefully shot and finished to mimic the classic style made famous by artists such as George Petty and Alberto Vargas. Fun and often downright goofy, these pinups portray the girl next door and her adventures through the 1940s. Prints in many different sizes are available!
